The executives of Korean football hiked Bukhansan mountain in Seoul together on January 18, 2007.
About 100 people joined for this annual hike: the senior executives of Korea Football Association led by Dr. Chung Mong-Joon, presidents of the K-League clubs, as well as presidents from leagues affiliated to Korea and the assistant coach of the national team Mr. Hong Myung Bo. Some football reporters also showed up on the trail to hike this 837 meter high mountain in central Seoul.
It is an annual practice for Korea FA executives and the coaching staff of the national team to usher in the New Year by hiking the mountains in and outside of Seoul. By going up the mountain trails together, they find time to share thoughts about various issues in a casual atmosphere. This year, the presidents of the K-League clubs also joined this annual event.
On another development in the first month of this year, Korea FA is scheduled to hold the annual congress on January 30 at Grand Hilton hotel in Seoul. The delegates will make their decisions on various important items on the agenda including the budget for this year.
