Official Title of Event : EAST ASIAN FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP 2008 Preliminary Competition Competition Date and City : 17-24 June 2007 in Macau-China Host : East Asian Football Federation (EAFF) Stadium : Macau Stadium Participating Associations : Macau-China (Host), Guam, Chinese Taipei, Hong Kong-China, DPR Korea, and Mongolia Competition Format : 1.  Six (6) teams will take part in the Preliminary Competition. 2.  Six (6) teams will be divided in two groups of three teams each , play one round robin match and classification match (5/6th Place,3/4th Place,Final) 3.  The match fixture for the Preliminary Competition is decided by the East Asian Football Federation (EAFF) in cooperation with the Host Association. 4.  The top team of the Preliminary Competition is declared the winner and qualifies for the Final Competition.
