Korea Republic National Football Team(Head Coach Shin Taeyong) scored 1-1 draw against Serbia in the International Friendly hosted by KEB Hana Bank held in Ulsan Munsu Football Stadium on November 14th.
Going with a 4-4-2 formation, Koo Jacheol(Augsburg) and Son Heungmin(Tottenham Hotspur) made a pair in the front line. Lee Jaesung(Jeonbuk Hyundai), Ki Sungyueng(Swansea City), Jung Wooyoung(Chongqing Lifan) and Kwon Changhoon(Dijon FCO) took the half line. Kim Minwoo(Suwon Samsung), Kim Younggwon(Guangzhou Evergrande), Jang Hyunsoo(Tokyo FC) and Choi Chulsoon(Jeonbuk Hyundai) took the back line, with Cho Hyunwoo(Daegu FC) playing as a goalkeeper for his international debut.
Finishing the first half without any score from both teams, the second half of the game went far fiercer. In 14’ of the second half Serbia first scored a goal, but in 17’ Koo Jacheol successfully made a goal with a penalty kick that he earned. As the match got more intense, 30,560 of fans who came to see the match in Ulsan Munsu Football Stadium responded with a cheer doing the waves.
