Jakarta: The AFC U-19 Championship Indonesia 2018 quarter-finals line-up was completed on Friday when Saudi Arabia and Tajikistan joined the other six teams who had already qualified.
Japan
Finished as Group B winners following three successive wins during which they scored 13 goals – the most by any side throughout the group stage. The competition’s reigning champions, who are currently appearing in their 37th AFC U-19 Championship, were impressively one of only two teams to go through to the last eight with a 100 percent record.
Korea Republic
Thursday’s 3-1 win over Vietnam saw them finish as Group C winners. They opened their campaign with a 1-1 draw against Australia before successive wins helped them through to the last eight of a competition they have won no less than 12 times.
