Japan's ranking was unchanged at 28th, with Iran as Asia's second best team at 30th.
Korea Republic and Australia also moved up by one spot each to 39th and 41st respectively, while AFC Asian Cup champions Qatar maintained their 55th position to complete Asia's top five teams.
