Hong Kong: Chinese Super League leaders Wuhan Three Towns underlined their dominance of the 2022 season so far with a 5-1 statement win over traditional powerhouse Beijing FC.

In Korea, there were goals-a-plenty in a high-scoring weekend that saw a shock, while in Japan postponements allowed the chasing pack to close in on frontrunners Yokohama F. Marinos.

A historical first CSL match on home soil at Wuhan Sports Centre was marked in fine style for the team at the top of the league as Wuhan Three Towns’ striker Marcao netted four goals in a little over an hour in Friday’s 5-1 victory that sees them now 12 games unbeaten.
