Korea Republic men’s national team have failed to end their winless streak.

Jürgen Klinsmann’s charges were held to a 1-1 draw by El Salvador at Daejeon World Cup Stadium on Tuesday, as Hwang Uijo’s opening goal four minutes after the restart was cancelled out by Alex Roldan with three minutes remaining. Having failed to claim a win in four matches – two draws and two defeats – under the guidance of the new coach, the Taegeuk Warriors are set to travel to Europe for another series of friendlies in September.

Klinsmann made four changes to the side that had faced Peru last week, whilst converting the formation from a 4-4-2 to a 4-2-3-1. Cho Guesung got the nod ahead of Oh Hyeongyu up front, with Lee Kangin, Lee Jaesung and Hwang Heechan supporting the lone striker. .....
