Korea Republic suffered a defeat against Colombia in their first match of the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
Colin Bell’s side lost 2-0 against Colombia in their Group H opener staged at Sydney Football Stadium on Tuesday, conceding two goals in the first half.
The result put the Tigresses in third place of the group that is led by a mighty Germany side that had beaten Morocco 6-0 on Monday, with Colombia chasing the leaders on goal difference. Top two teams from each group advance to the second round of these finals. Korea Republic will take on Morocco in their second group match on Sunday afternoon. .....
