콜린 벨 감독이 이끄는 여자 대표팀은 26일 오후 4시 30분(한국시간) 중국 샤먼의 이그렛 스타디움에서 열린 파리올림픽 아시아 2차 예선 B조 첫 경기에서 케이시 유진 페어와 천가람의 해트트릭, 강채림의 2골, 이금민, 문미라의 한골씩에 힘입어 태국에 10-1로 승리했다. 한국은 오는 29일과 다음달 1일 각각 북한과 중국을 상대해 최종 예선 진출에 도전한다.
올림픽 2차 예선은 12개 팀이 4팀씩 3개조로 나뉘어 조별리그를 치른다. 각 조 1위 세 팀과 2위 세 팀 중 성적이 가장 좋은 한 팀까지 총 4개 팀이 최종 예선에 진출해 아시아에 할당된 올림픽 본선 티켓 2장을 노린다. .....
