Hong Kong: Pohang Steelers maintained a one-point advantage at the top of the K League 1 with a last-gasp 1-0 victory against Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors as defending champions Ulsan Hyundai continued to put pressure on the leaders with a dramatic late win against FC Seoul on Saturday.

Shanghai Shenhua stayed five points clear in the Chinese Super League after a 4–0 defeat of Zhejiang FC as their city rivals and reigning champions Shanghai Port registered a resounding 6-0 victory against Shenzhen Peng City on Sunday.

Korea Republic: Late win keeps Pohang top


Kim Jong-woo came off the bench to score a dramatic 95th-minute winner as Pohang Steelers edged Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors 1-0 on Saturday to stay one point clear at the top of K League 1. Park Tae-ha’s side had also posted a more comfortable 4-2 win against Gangwon during the midweek, powered by a hat-trick from Jeong Jae-hee. .....
