Bali: Korea Republic captain Won Ju-eun said her side has “nothing to lose and nothing to fear” when they take on China PR in their AFC U17 Women’s Asian Cup™ Indonesia 2024 third-place playoff on Sunday.
Won has played a starring role in Korea Republic’s campaign, not only leading her team but also showing her scoring prowess with four goals in the 12-0 win against Indonesia in the group stage.
“If we play better, we believe we can secure third place and the ticket to the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup,” said the 17-year-old forward. “When we started, our goal was to win the tournament. Although we couldn't achieve that, we are determined to win Sunday’s match. .....
