Korea Republic men’s national team have claimed a victory and a draw in the two-game friendly series that took place in the United States.

Hong Myungbo’s charges defeated USA 2-0 at Sports Illustrated Stadium in Harrison, New Jersey on Saturday, before drawing 2-2 with Mexico at Geodis Park in Nashville, Tennessee on Tuesday. Next up for the Taegeuk Warriors is another friendly series at home against Brazil and Paraguay at Seoul World Cup Stadium.

The friendlies in the United States were the one that took place for the first time in overseas since the games against Wales and Saudi Arabia in September 2023. And with the results Korea Republic’s head-to-head record against the USA is six wins, three draws and three defeats, whereas they have won four times, drawn three time and lost eight times against the Mexicans. .....
