The two-time champions, having notched consecutive wins, will face DPR Korea to decide the group winners on Wednesday. Despite their second loss, Jordan can still hope to make the knockout stage cut but will have to beat Uzbekistan in their final tie to stand a chance.
Jordan did well to weather Korea Republic’s onslaught in the opening 20 minutes as their opponents struggled to find their rhythm - both Lee Hae-un and Yoon Ah-yeong fluffed their attempts while Choi Ju-hong found the target but fired straight at keeper Sajida Issa. .....
