Doha: Oman put on a spirited display to edge Qatar 2-1 in their AFC U20 Asian Cup China 2027™ Qualifiers Group E tie on Monday.

Saudi Arabia stamped their authority in the other fixture with a 2-0 win over Hong Kong, China.

Saudi Arabia controlled the narrative from the first blow of the whistle and took the lead in the 26th minute through Suhayb Al Hawsawi.

The West Asian side doubled their advantage with Louay Al Obeidi finding the net in the first minute of first half stoppage time from the penalty spot.
