EAFC2003 -MATCH "Final" -

East Asian Football Championship is a competition held every two years to determine the East Asian football champion,and the inaugural competition will be held in 2003.

The Final Competition will be contested by 4 teams- Korea Rep., which reached the semi-finals of the 2002 FIFA World Cup^™; Japan, which made it through to the round of 16; China PR, which appeared in the World Cup for the first time; and Hong Kong, which made an overwhelming victory in the preliminary competition before a home crowd. The participation of 4 East Asian football powers contributes significantly to the fulfilment of EAFF's objective to raise the standard of football in East Asia.
