This is the year of Korean women's football. After the advance to round of 16 in FIFA Women's World Cup in Canada and getting the second place in EAFF Women's East Asian Cup earlier this year, Korea U-19 Women's nationl team got another achievement.
Korea U-19 Women's team finished 2015 AFC Women's U-19 Championship held in Nanjing in China between 19th and 29th August with the 3rd-place. Korea U-19 Women's team arrived the second round after defeating Iran(13-0), Thailand(3-0) and losing to North Korea(0-1) in the group stage. It was Japan they met in the second round, but lost by 0-1 to get the 3rd-place match. Korea U-19 Women's team clashed China by 4-0 in this crucial match and got the ticket to the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup. This would be the fourth consecutive qualification for the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup Final.....
