We would like to announce that U-23 Japan National Team will play an international friendly against U-23 Mexico National Team in Portugal on Friday 25 March.

International Friendly Match, Match Outline

Dates: Friday 25 March　The kick-off time is to be determined.
Match: U-23 Mexico National Team vs U-23 Japan National Team
Venue: Estádio Municipal de Rio Maior (Lisbon, Portugal)

Coach Comment

TEGURAMORI Makoto, Coach
Playing against the gold medalists in the last Olympics will be a match for us to see where we currently stand. We just have to try and see what we can do as Asian champions against Mexico. Also I want to see how these U-23 players can adjust to playing against a non-Asian team in a non-Asian country. As for Mexico, I think they are a team that we should try to learn from because they are making their name in the world even though their physique is similar to that of us Japanese.....
