The Hong Kong Football Association regrets to announce that the international friendly game – Hong Kong vs Turkmenistan scheduled on 6 Sept 2016 is facing a high possibility of cancellation due to sudden and unexpected circumstances. The Football Federation of Turkmenistan submitted a written notice to HKFA on 25 August 2016 announcing their incapability of forming a proper visiting team due to injury problem of their national team players and resignation of their coaching staff. HKFA attempted to negotiate with them but failed to reach any positive result at the moment.
Understanding fans’ expectation for Hong Kong Representative Team home match, HKFA is also seeking all possible options to arrange a replacement match but faces huge difficulty due to time constraints.....
