Korea U-17 national team ended up with 1 win and 1 loss in Qatar 3Nations International U17 Football Tournament 2016.
On October 5, the U 17 national team led by KFA coach Kim Taeyeop lost 0-2 to Mali in Aspire Academy located in Doha, Qatar. Korea conceded two goals in the 32’ and 65’. The young Taegeuk Warriors fought until the final whistle but failed to score.
Korea won against Qatar 1-0 in the first game that was held the previous day. Kim Hyeonwoo scored the winner. But the U-17 team failed to make consecutive victories being defeated by Mali. The 40 minutes rule was applied for the each half. The host national Qatar, Mali and Korea participated in the competition. The U-17 national team is scheduled to return to Korea on October 6.....
