On November 11, Korea faced Canada at Cheonan Baekseok Stadium in Cheonan. Korea won over Canada with Kim Bokyung and Lee Jeonghyeop’s goal. It was the first time the two teams met since 2002.

Korea took the lead in the 10’. Nam Taehee delivered a ball to Kim Bokyung and Kim fired a shot. Canadian goalkeeper Simon Thomas tried to save it with his hand but the ball just went into the corner or the goal. With an early lead, Korea started dominating the game. In the 12’, Kim fed a ball from a free kick but the ball was deflected by defenders.

In the 22’, Lee Jeonghyeop tried a shot in the box and the ball was deflected by a Canadian defender. Right back Kim Changsoo struck the ball but the ball only hit Kim Bokyung.
