Korea Women's National Football Team announced a list of 23 players to play in the Women's Asian Cup Qualification.
23 players of the Women's National Team who will depart to Pyeongyang is confirmed. On March 13, Korea Women's National Team led by Coach Yoon Deokyeo announced final list of players who will be playing in the qualification matches of the 2018 AFC Women's Asian Cup.
The AFC Women's Asian Cup Qualification which will be held in Pyeongyang, DPRK, is the key battle to decide 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup attenders. That is why all veteran players are selected. Coach Yoon summoned all the players who achieved second place in the Cyprus Cup including Ji Soyun (Chelsea Ladies), Goalkeeper Kim Jeongmi, Chang Seulki and Lee Mina from Incheon Hyundai Steel and Kang Yumi from Hwacheon KSPO.
Also players who did not play in the Cyprus Cup such as Lee Youngjoo and Jeon Gaeul from Incheon Hyundai Steel as well as Seo Hyunsuk from Icheon Daekyo have joined. It is the first time to call Lee Youngjoo since the call for EAFF Women's East Asian Cup trial in October 2016 first time to call Jeon Gaeul since the final trial for the Olympic in February 2016 first time to call Seo Hyunsook since the friendly match with Myanmar in May 2016. Kim Suyeon (Suwon City Facilities Management Corporation), Sim Seoyeon (Icheon Daekyo) and Choi Yuri (Gumi Sports Toto) who have played in the Cyprus Cup are excluded this time.....
