Coach Shin Taeyong was appointed as the new coach of the Korea National Football Team.
Technical committee of KFA hosted the '6th Technical Committee of 2017' at National
Football Center(NFC) in Paju on July 4th in order to discuss about the appointment
of the national team coach and U-23 national team coach. The meeting started at 9 am
and continued until the afternoon. At 2 pm, Kim Hogon, the chairman of the technical
committee held a briefing and announced the appointment of Coach Shin Taeyong.
"Coach Shin Taeyong is appointed as the new National Team coach. The contract is until
the 2018 Russia World Cup Final. Even in a case that the National team ranks 3rd in the
final preliminary league, Coach Shin Taeyong will continue to lead playoff. Composition
of coaching staff is also entrusted to the coach," said Kim Hogon, the chairman of the
technical committee in the announcement.....
