U-16 Korea Republic National Football Team led by head coach KIM Jungsoo will head to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from 5th to 18th for their off-season training. Preparing for the AFC U-16 Championship Malaysia 2018 that will be held from September 20th to October 7th, U-16 NT is planning to improve the overall strategies and strengths, in addition to adapting to the local, through this off-season training. Korea Republic will face the defending champion, Iraq, along with Australia and Afghanistan in Group D. Only the top four teams are qualified for the FIFA U-17 World Cup 2019 Peru and U-16 NT is aiming to win the champion title in this AFC U-16 Championship.

U-16 NT has planned to play total of four matches in Malaysia with two local club teams each ? Johor Darul Ta’zim IV (U-19), Melaka United U-19 and twice with U-16 Malaysia National Football Team.
