On Sunday 22 September, the U-15 Japan National Team faced the U-15 Malaysia National Team in their third match of the AFC U-16 Championship 2020 qualification.
The team needed a win or a draw to clinch the group lead and advance to the main tournament, but coach MORIYAMA Yoshiro made it clear to his players that their goal was to advance through the group stage with three wins.
