On Thursday 10 October, a promotional event was held at Saitama Stadium 2002 to support the Japanese Bid to host the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 during the match between the SAMURAI BLUE (Japan National Team) and the Mongolia National Team at the second round of the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar and AFC Asian Cup China PR 2023 Preliminary Joint Qualification.

Following the promotional event held at IAI Stadium Nihondaira on Sunday 6 October, a special booth to support the Japanese Bid to host the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 was once again setup at the stadium. At the booth, champion’s trophies and jerseys from the FIFA Women's World Cup Germany 2011, FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup France 2018, and FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup Costa Rica 2014 were on display.

With this being the first promotional event held during a SAMURAI BLUE match, many people who are not familiar with women's football were given the opportunity to see the actual trophies from the Women’s World Cup and showed great excitement at the booth as they took photos of the items on display......
