Kuala Lumpur: The Japan Football Association (JFA) and the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) underlined their commitment to women’s football development in their respective intensive online workshops held on Monday.
With the aim of strengthening the popularity of women’s football in Japan and developing female coaches for the newly established women’s league - Japan Women’s Empowerment Professional Football League (WE League), JFA initiated the Associate-Pro (A-Pro) License Coaching Course for female coaches to enhance their capabilities.
As part of the lecture study, the Course invited the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Head of Women’s Football, Bai Lili, who provided an informative presentation on AFC’s Women’s Football Development Strategy 2020-2030 and shared the recent progress in women’s football of Member Associations (MA) in the online session. A total of 13 female coaches exchanged their in-depth views on Asian women’s football during the discussion section. .....
