Gothenburg: Sam Kerr and Ji So-yun’s Chelsea fell short in their bid to claim a maiden European title, losing 4-0 to FC Barcelona in the UEFA Women’s Champions League Final on Sunday.
Crowned FA Women’s Super League champions and League Cup winners this season, the Australia and Korea Republic stars were unable to add the continental title to their domestic honours, with Chelsea blown away in the early stages by the rampant Spaniards.
