Bishkek: Myanmar secured three crucial points in their bid to qualify for the AFC U23 Asian Cup Uzbekistan 2022, leaving it late before claiming a 1-0 win over Chinese Taipei at Dolen Omurzakov Stadium on Saturday.
Kaung Myat Thu scored 10 minutes from time to seal the victory, which confirmed Chinese Taipei’s elimination from the qualification race.
The result leaves Group I to be settled in Tuesday’s final match between Vietnam and Myanmar, with the Southeast Asian neighbours going into the group deciding Matchday Three finale dead level on points and goal difference. .....
