Navi Mumbai: Kazuo Echigo believes Chinese Taipei are only just getting warmed up after their emphatic 5-0 win over Islamic Republic of Iran in their final AFC Women’s Asian Cup India 2022™ Group A tie on Wednesday.
Lai Li-Chin was the star of the show, netting three goals with Chen Yen-Ping and Wang Hsiang-Huei scoring one apiece as Chinese Taipei sealed second place in Group A behind China PR to advance to the quarter-finals.
Having lost 4-0 to China on Matchday One, Chinese Taipei bounced back in style to secure their place in the next stage of the competition. .....
