Tashkent: As Japan flew high after their emphatic 3-0 win against Korea Republic in the U23 Asian Cup™ Uzbekistan 2022 quarter-finals at the Pakhtakor Stadium on Sunday, Yuito Suzuki remained firmly grounded.
Suzuki, who scored two and assisted the third, was rewarded with the Man-of-the-Match award but refused to bask in self-glory with a semi-final against Uzbekistan to prepare for.
“I don’t want to run before I can walk. I want to take each match step-by-step and see what can happen,” said the 20-year-old. .....
