Hong Kong: Yokohama F. Marinos need just five points from four games to win the J1 League title after storming to a 4-0 win over Nagoya Grampus at the weekend while second-placed Kawasaki Frontale were beaten by Hokkaido Consadole Sapporo.

In Korea Republic, title rivals Ulsan Hyundai and Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors both claimed wins in the first set of fixtures since the league split in two, while Daegu FC secured a crucial three points at the bottom end of the table.

Japan: Marinos increase lead as Frontale stumble

J1 League leaders Yokohama F. Marinos moved closer to being crowned champions after they extended their advantage at the top of the table to eight points following a 4-0 away win over Nagoya Grampus on Saturday in which Kota Mizunuma bagged a brace and substitutes Leo Ceara and Joel Chima Fujita scored late goals.
