Kuala Lumpur: Japan maintained their position as Asia's top team following the release of the latest FIFA Men's World Ranking on Thursday.

The East Asian side moved up one spot to 17th, thanks to their recent stellar form.

Islamic Republic of Iran are Asia's next best team, with the Central Asian side maintaining 21st spot while Korea Republic improved one rung to 23.

Australia moved up two spots to 25 while Saudi Arabia improved by one to 56. .....
