Kuala Lumpur: Recognising the Japan Football Association (JFA)’s outstanding efforts to elevate grassroots football, the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has renewed the association’s Gold level membership under the AFC Grassroots Charter.
First awarded the gold level membership in 2018, the JFA has since remained a benchmark for enhancing the standards of the grassroots game in Asia.
The AFC Grassroots assessors, who visited the island nation earlier this year, gained a comprehensive understanding of the JFA’s programmes and structures that are currently in place, while also being presented with a detailed plan for the future development of the sport. .....
