Kuala Lumpur: Semi-final appearances in two of the last three Olympic Games Men's Football Tournament indicate Japan will be a force to be reckoned with at Paris 2024.

Although the squad will be without the mercurial Takefusa Kubo and the quota of three overage players, the East Asian side still have the quality to challenge for medals when the action kicks off on July 24.
