Jeddah: Kim Yu Jin has proven himself more than capable of spearheading DPR Korea’s campaign at the AFC U17 Asian Cup™ Saudi Arabia 2025.

The 17-year-old team captain has been a solid, steady influence up front and in midfield, and in guiding his team to the quarter-finals, has kept DPR Korea on course for their third title.

Kim was all over the pitch in their final Group D match with Oman, where DPR Korea needed three points to make the last eight. He got his side off to a great start in the 10th minute when he collected a long pass, cut inside his marker and blasted his shot into the top corner. .....
