Men’s national team rounded off their qualifying campaign with a comprehensive victory over Kuwait, having already qualified for the FIFA World Cup finals in the previous round.

Hong Myungbo’s charges beat Kuwait 4-0 in their final Group B match in the third round of the Asian Qualifiers staged at Seoul World Cup Stadium on Tuesday. The Taegeuk Warriors took the lead through an own goal on the half-hour mark, before Lee Kangin, Oh Hyeongyu and Lee Jaesung struck in the second half.

Previously, Korea Republic had already qualified for the finals by defeating Iraq in the penultimate fixture last week to secure at least second place in the group, where Jordan finished second behind Korea on 22 points (six wins and four draws). .....
