EAFF NEWS/COLUMN

The East Asian Football Federation (EAFF) held its 79th Executive Committee Meeting.

The matters discussed and approved were as follows.

(1) The minutes from the 78th EAFF Executive Committee Meeting held in Tokyo, Japan on 30 March 2025 was approved.
(2) Application to the United Nations Football for the Goals Initiative was reported and approved.
(3) A report by the EAFF Organising Committee on the EAFF E-1 Football Championship 2025 Final Korea Republic was presented.
(4) A marketing report on the EAFF E-1 Football Championship 2025 Final Korea Republic was presented.
(5) A report on the election of the following positions for the remaining term (2022–2026) was presented:
　I. EAFF President
　II. One (1) EAFF Vice President
　III. One (1) EAFF Executive Committee Member
(6) EAFF U-15 Boys Festival plan was discussed.
