The fifth day Women’s match of the EAFF E-1 FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP 2022 FINAL JAPAN took place July 26th at Kashima Soccer Stadium in Kashima, Japan, pitting Chinese Taipei against Korea Rep.

Chinese Taipei started off with an attack in the 8th minute when LAI, LI-CHIN fired off a shot from within the penalty area, but Korea Rep. goalkeeper YOON YOUNGGEUL was able to make the save.

In the 16th minute, Chinese Taipei goalkeeper CHENG, SSU-YU had a serious collision with Korea Rep. defender LIM SEONJOO in the penalty area. She was replaced by KIM YUNJI.

In the 35th minute, Korea Rep. player JANG SELGI rushed the penalty area and sent a pass for LEE MIN A to put into the net, giving Korea Rep. the first goal(Own Goal in the MATCH REPORT).

3 minutes later, CHOE YURI started another attack from the right side and passed the ball into the penalty area to KANG CHAERIM. The Chinese Taipei goalkeeper CHENG, SSU-YU could not stop the subsequent shot, and Korea Rep. was up 2-0.

In the 40th minute, LEE MIN A rushed the penalty area with the ball, throwing off SU SIN-YUN before putting the ball in the net to make the score 3-0 before the half.

Chinese Taipei`s players seemed tired in the second half, while Korea Rep. stepped up their offense. In the 77th minute, a long pass from the left to the right of the penalty area set up CHOO HYOJOO for a rush and shoot play, but the ball hit the right goalpost.

In additional time, Korea Rep's KANG CHAERIM sent a long pass from the right into the penalty area for teammate KO MINJUNG to head into the net. This goal capped off the game and ended in a 4-0 victory for Korea Rep.
