AFC has reached an important milestone as stadium attendance numbers for the FIFA World Cup 2018 and AFC Asian Cup 2019 joint qualifiers have exceeded the one million mark.
Total stadium attendance in the Preliminary Joint Qualification Round Two so far, which saw 76 matches played, reached 1,076,998, averaging 14,171 spectators per fixture.
Meanwhile, the total attendance for all stages of the qualifying competition, across 88 fixtures, hit 1,166,971, averaging 13,261 spectators per match.....
