February 22, 11am - At the KFA building on Seoul Shinmuro, the Korea Football Association (KFA) and Korea Council of Sport for All-Football Federation (hereinafter KCS-FF) met at a general meeting, and declared their intention to merge and to name KFA President Chung Monggyu (54 y/o) as president of the new organization. President Chung Monggyu will serve until this September, at which point elections will be held to the next president for four years.
At the merger meeting 48 delegates, composed of the exisiting KFA and KCS-FF delegates along with new delegates from the K League Classic teams, participated. In total there will be 53 delegates.
