The Korea Football Association (KFA) appointed Seol Kihyun, the coach at Sungkyunkwan University as the national team assistant coach. The contract period is from 1st of March until the closing of the World Cup Final in Russia next year.
Lee Yongsu, chairman of the KFA technical committee said "I believe that Coach Seol Kihyun will assist Coach Uli Stielike very well based on good understanding of foreign coach's training method as he has played overseas for a long time. He also has good knowledge about football and diverse experiences."
Coach Seol Kihyun competed in the World Cup in 2002 and 2006. He also played in club teams such as Anderlecht (Belgium), Wolverhampton, Reading, Fulham (England), Al Hilal (Saudi Arabia), Pohang, Ulsan and Incheon.....
