Coaches Jose Antonio Grande Cereijo (70) and Javier Minano (50), who were both part of the Spanish National Football Team that won the 2010 World Cup and the 2012 UEFA European Championship with Real Madrid, will join the Korean Men’s National Team.
The Korea Football Association (KFA) reached an agreement with the two Spanish coaches on Thursday, and they will be assistants to national team head coach Shin Tae-yong at the 2018 FIFA World Cup. The two Spanish coaches will arrive in South Korea on November 3rd at 5pm through Incheon International Airport. They will be joining the national training session on November 6th.
From 1996 to 2007, Grande (70) was a first-team assistant for Real Madrid. He also worked with big-name coaches like Fabio Capello, Guus Hiddink, John Toshack, and Vicente Del Bosque Gonzalez and won three UEFA Champions League titles.
From 2008 until last year, he mainly worked as head coach for Spain’s National Football Team led by Vicente Del Bosque, which won the 2010 World Cup and the 2012 UEFA European Championship.....
