Kuala Lumpur: There were top of the table clashes in both Japan and Korea Republic, while the top three in China PR begin to break free of the chasing pack.

Several of the region's biggest sides in the J.League, K-League and Chinese Super League registered intriguing results while in Macau, the final fixtures of the 2019 calendar brought the season to a close.

Kawasaki Frontale's disappointing goalless draw with Sagan Tosu in their previous fixture looked less than ideal preparation for the Tamagawa Clasico against table toppers and neighbours FC Tokyo, but Toru Oniki's third-placed side responded in a big way at Ajinomoto Stadium......
