A 2011 FIFA Women’s World Cup winner, and the Most Valuable Player as Japan won the AFC Women’s Asian Cup in 2018, Iwabuchi will arrive at the club in January from Japanese outfit INAC Kobe Leonessa, whose domestic season has just finished.
The deal marks a return to Europe for Iwabuchi, who spent two seasons with German outfit Hoffenheim from 2012, before spending three seasons with Bayern Munich, with whom she won two Frauen Beundesliga titles. .....
