Kitchee SC needed a penalty shootout to overcome defending champions Eastern Long Lions and lift the 2022-23 Hong Kong Senior Shield on Sunday. After Eastern lifted the 2019-20 title, the competition was not held for the last two seasons due to COVID-19.
