Bali: DPR Korea head coach Song Sung Gwon came away delighted with the way his team performed in their 7-0 defeat of Korea Republic in their Group A opener of the AFC U17 Women’s Asian Cup™ Indonesia 2024 on Monday.

The three-time AFC U-16 Women’s Championship winners applied pressure from the start at the Bali United Training Center, leaving their opponents very little space to breathe.

DPR Korea turned on the heat in the second half, knocking in five goals with Jon Il-Chong claiming a hat-trick as well as Player of the Match honours and Ho Kyong walking away with two goals. .....
