Japan: Kashima held; heavy defeat for Vissel
Kashima Antlers were held by 1-1 by FC Machida Zelvia but edged the shootout 5-3 to stay top of Group A.
They moved up to 34 points, two ahead of FC Tokyo, who beat Kawasaki frontale 2-0. The draw took Machida to 25 points, one ahead of Tokyo Verdy who edged Kashiwa Reysol 1-0.
Vissel Kobe suffered a stunning 5-0 defeat to Gamba Osaka, with the loss reducing their lead in Group B to just one point.
