Korea Republic came from a goal down to defeat Spain 2-1 on Wednesday and ensure four out of five AFC Member Associations made it to the knockout stage of the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup, as the Taeguek Ladies finished second in Group E behind Brazil to join world and Asian champions Japan, Australia, and China in the Round of 16.
Veronica Boquete opened the scoring just before the half-hour mark before second-half goals from Cho Soh-yun (53rd) and Kim Soo-yun (78th) saw the Taeguek Ladies pick up the victory that took them through to the next phase of the tournament.....
