Port Moresby: DPR Korea qualified for the quarter-finals of the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup Papua New Guinea 2016 after powering past Brazil 4-2 and Sweden thrashing the hosts 6-0 in their group’s later game on Wednesday.

Having beaten the Swedes in their campaign opener, the Koreans are now confirmed winners of Group B. The runners-up ticket to the quarters will be up for grabs between Brazil and Sweden who will face each other on Sunday while DPR Korea will take on already-eliminated Papua New Guinea.

An 11 minutes three-goal salvo to end the first half sent DPR Korea into the half-time break 4-1 in the ascendancy at the Sir John Guise Stadium.....
