The U-20 national team led by Coach Shin Taeyong won a victory in the test event which was held two months prior to the U-20 World Cup commencing on May 20.

The U-20 national team was defeated by Ecuador 0-2 in the last match of 'Adidas international U-20 football tournament' held in Jeju World Cup Stadium on March 30. Korea, recorded winning score of 6 (2 wins 1 loss) and had same records with Zambia in winning scores, goal difference and total goal scored but Korea gained the winning trophy in the end according to the winner's winning rule as Korea has won Zambia 4-1 in the 2nd round.

The national team achieved a valuable outcome in the last trial game held before the U-20 World Cup. The team demonstrated a potential to play in the final while showing a passing play with Lee Seungwoo and Paik Seungho, the 'Barcelona Duo' in the center. In the previous two games, the team also showed attractive offensive force while gaining seven goals. The team was defeated by Ecuador in the 3rd round but it is due to testing strategies with new members.....
